Annie Jermain, has out performed the Devon farms'
by reaching her yearly target of 300 deliveries a week seven months early. Annie began the home delivery service of organic vegetable boxes at the end of May this year, starting with 60 customers and with the help of a local cheese shop, which placed one of Riverford’s leaflet dispensers on their counter, the orders have come flooding in. "I knew this business would be a success but I never expected to excel at the rate it has, I am absolutely delighted." comments Annie from her home office in Haslemere, "I have already employed two part time drivers to help me with the delivery rounds, and with the support from Riverford I am always looking forward in terms of marketing activities whilst maintaining a focus on the customer base I have."......read more

Amanda Lindsay became disenchanted with the demands of full-time employment

So, when the opportunity arose to buy a Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Clubs franchise and become her own boss, it was too good a chance to miss. Before taking the plunge, Helen had researched the franchise business thoroughly. She spent 12 months attending presentations and interviews and then undertaking training before finally launching her business in January 2001 at the age of 34...read more
